About my work

I design and make statement jewellery and accessories that will last – spinning tops, whistles, scarf rings, ‘medals’, bowls and bookmarks. Each piece has a bit of ‘heft’, a pleasing weight, and tactile curves and textures.

I want my jewellery to be a pleasure to wear, and my accessories to be beautiful, lasting and playful keepsakes.

Making things from silver is when I experience that elusive and slightly addictive ‘flow’. The whole process is one of unseen movement.

Why sweetsilversong?

I come from Liverpool, and as Rodgers & Hammerstein and then Gerry & The Pacemakers put it…
